Ever since she can remember, Melanie has been passionate about all things food-related. While studying advertising at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Melanie also took classes on food politics, food marketing, and ultimately taught herself how to cook and bake.
Melanie has spent the better part of the last decade working in the advertising industry with a focus on re-branding or building brands that are challengers within their category. She understands how marketing can impact consumers, and consequently, their mindset and purchase behavior. Melanie’s developed and led several 360-degree campaigns for global and local clients across many categories including: Food & Beverage, CPG, Technology, Agriculture & Luxury Fashion. Additionally, she has managed a variety of social media platforms at food events including the Cookie Takedown and Edible Manhattan’s ‘Food Loves Tech.’
Melanie is thoughtful, driven, and excited to merge her marketing skills with her love for food and hospitality. When away from the office Melanie can be found baking, gallivanting through New York City with her friends, or traveling.
