Zach Farber

director of business development

From music to product development to hospitality, Zach brings a strong background in sales, management & business development to SHIFT. Zach started his career managing talent in the music & entertainment space, working with venues to identify the right talent, develop promotional opportunities and coordinate all aspects of appearances.

He then moved to Chloe's Soft Serve Fruit Co. where he was an important part of their extraordinary growth - his first taste of the sweet fruit of startup success. Managing catering, events, wholesale & field operations, Zach helped expand and grow the Chloe’s business exponentially. From there, he continued to drive business expansion and sales for FoodtoEat, a innovative startup using technology to forge economically stronger and more well-informed food communities. Zach implemented an organized and optimized sales process, leading to the acquisition of 15+ new clients a month and growing revenue by 14x annually.

He has also consulted on several CPG & Restaurant projects, including the development of a truly unique paleo bagel, the Pagel  (yup, you read that right - there’s a paleo bagel, and it’s delicious!) Zach helped develop production capabilities, significantly expanded distribution in retail and strengthen e-commerce execution, leading to 10X revenue growth in only 4 months. With a keen eye for potential, a can-do approach to sales, and an endless energy for business development, Zach sees every challenge as an opportunity to create great things.
